im really trying to go for the down to earth bohemian look and i need to have a lighttttt little cover up i guess and shoes with no heels or anything, well at least not high heels.

Hi! I'm an American lady and I'm moving to India next year. I've been there several times and I have bought a few "Punjabi suits"... I really like them. They are comfortable and make more sense to wear than some of the American clothes that are too hot. However, I'm a bit afraid that women might be offended if I dress this way thinking I'm trying to be something I'm not. At least, that's how I'm told it is over here...so I thought I'd ask the source... I know I'm not Inian - but I LOVE India and I hope whatever part of it (culture, etc) that I adopt will be socially acceptable (I can read/write & Understand a lot of Hindi...for example). Thanks!

im in loooooove with this top! does anyone know where i can find a similar top (other than on ebay)?

During the winter they are not thick enough or warm enough.
During the summer they are too thick and warm.

How is this so that it can be both? Let's be honest here, is this an excuse so that you don't have to wear them and it is conveniently "accepted as true"?
