Dresses For Days

I don't have a price limit so any price is fine.... I would prefer the shoes to be from like bloomingdales, lord and taylor, nordstroms or neiman marcus.... stores like that...... I was invited to go to a semi formal dance with one of my guy friends and Im wearing a dress thats a little short but its so cute. Here is the dress:

Since its a semi formal I want the rest of my attire and hair to look formal.... I would prefer a down hairstyle. For the shoes, I don't know what shoes to wear with or without stockings, pattern stockings I don't know Im so lost! Any suggestions? Thank you and could you please provide pictures of the hair and shoes, and or stockings if you advice them? thanks

My prom is coming up and i was just wondering what have you done/ are you going to do with your dress after wards?
It seems like a big waste just to leave it in the cupboard forever.
Its a proper prom dress like long and big so i cant really wear it again.
Do you think it was all worth it if you've already had your prom?

So I bought a prom dress, and it's floorlength and black. How should I accessorize it? It doesn't have any embellishments or anything, and it has a slight sweetheart neckline with straps that are about 1 inch wide.
Any ideas?

I'm 5 ft 6. I know I'm already risking it by ordering online, but I at least want to know how far down the dress would go on me... D:
(my size is a large, by the way)

The dress is 39 inches long, so would it be... knee length? A few inches above or below? Let me know what you think. :]
By the way, I don't have a tape measure. xD
